摘要: An appropriate antibiotherapy is crucial for the safety and recovery of patients. Depending on clinical conditions patients, required dose to effectively eradicate an infection may vary. inadequate dosing not only reduces efficacy antibiotic, but also promotes emergence antimicrobial resistances. Therefore, a personalized therapy great interest improved patients’ outcome will reduce in long-term prevalence multidrug-resistances. In this context, on-site monitoring antibiotic blood concentration fundamental facilitate individual adjustment antibiotherapy. Herein, we present bioinspired approach bedside free accessible s-lactam antibiotics, including penicillins (piperacillin) cephalosporins (cefuroxime cefazolin) untreated plasma samples. The introduced system combines disposable microfluidic chip with naturally occurring penicillin-binding protein, resulting high-performance platform, capable gauging very low concentrations (less than 6 ng ml−1) from 1 µl serum. system’s applicability was successfully demonstrated by pharmacokinetics treated undergoing surgery.
