摘要: This chapter reviews select lines of social psychological work on power and resource inequality. Specifically, we review analyze four broad themes that are inter-woven across diverse traditions psychology. First, exchange rational choice accounts emphasize how divides, differentiates, creates gradients inequality among individuals. Second, examine symbolic powerful individuals define the situation have ability to establish shared definitions reality. Third, consider cooperative aspects power, is, when relations promote cohesion solidarity by bringing people together around a common task or activity. Finally, inequalities correlate with other processes. Along way various perspectives might benefit from greater attention theoretical cross-fertilization.
