摘要: Most testicular germ cell tumors of adults are presumably derived from polyploid carcinoma in situ. Thus, one would expect that even highly differentiated teratoma components aneuploid and it is unlikely to find diploid tumor (sub)populations. We studied 10 residual mature teratomas (RMTs) using a dual parameter flow cytometry procedure. Nuclear DNA was stained with propidium iodide cytoplasmic intermediate filament proteins, particular, cytokeratins, fluorescein isothiocyanate-labeled specific monoclonal antibodies. Cells RMTs, immunoreactive antibodies cytokeratins were considered be cells. These always found aneuploid, agreement the available cytogenetic data on these tumors. The cells present RMTs devoid cytokeratins; therefore, represent nonmalignant normal host stromal inflammatory results, accordance our earlier finding, indicate extremely rare adults, histologically benign somatic tissues RMT after polychemotherapy aneuploid.
