PSYCHIATRIC SYMPTOMS | Interictal Anxiety in Temporal Lobe Epilepsy

摘要: Psychiatric comorbidities are common in temporal lobe epilepsy (TLE). This article will focus on interictal anxiety, which is a problem for large proportion of patients with TLE and difficult to control. We briefly review important findings from preclinical clinical research this topic. then our own research, the kindling model used studying changes anxiety behavior rats. Finally, we discuss implications these developing better treatment options patient populations offer some thoughts future directions research.
