摘要: Observations suggest that the properties of Type Ia supernovae (SNe Ia) may depend on environmental characteristics, such as morphology, metallicity, and age host galaxies. The influence these resulting SNe is studied in this paper. First it shown carbon mass fraction X(C) C+O white dwarf SN progenitors tends to be smaller for lower metallicity older binary system age. It then suggested variation causes diversity brightness Ia: a leads dimmer Ia. Further studies propagation turbulent flame are necessary confirm relation. Our model predicts when belong an population or low environment, number bright reduced, so among also smaller. Thus our can explain why mean its dispersion morphology galaxies distance from center galaxy. further predicted at higher redshift (z >~ 1) both should spiral than elliptical These variations within range observed nearby In far most important cause Ia, light curve shape method currently used determine absolute magnitude applied high
