摘要: Odour is one of the main environmental concerns in laying hen industry and may also influence animal health production performance. Previous studies showed that odours from body are primarily produced microbial fermentation (breakdown) organic materials caecum, different species have odour potentials. This study was conducted to evaluate emissions two primary odorous gases, ammonia (NH3) hydrogen sulphide (H2S), six (Hyline, Lohmann, Nongda, Jingfen, Xinghua Zhusi). An vitro technique adopted this study, which has been reported be an appropriate method for simulating gas caecum. The results show Jingfen greatest volume after 12 h (p < 0.05). Hyline had highest, while Lohmann lowest, total NH3 H2S Zhusi were higher than those 0.05), exhibited lowest Of species, identified as best because it amount + (39.94 µg). biochemical indicators concentration volatile fatty acids (VFAs) other five pH lower 0.01), concentrations ammonium nitrogen (NH4+), uric acid urea 0.01). highest change SO42− during processes In addition, correlation analysis suggested emission positively related urease activities but not significantly ureC gene number. Furthermore, observed reduction no connection with aprA Overall, our findings provide a reference future feeding programmes attempting reduce pollution industry.
