摘要: Optical diffusometry is a technique used for measuring diffusion. This work explores the possibility of directly diffusion coefficients submicron particles pathogen detection. The coefficient these function drag particle at constant temperatures. Particles introduced into sample containing an analyte bind with if functionalized appropriate antibodies. leads to increase in hydrodynamic and hence decrease their coefficient. study uses above principle effectively measure using two different experimental approaches. measured reduction can be correlated amount present thus forms basis biological agent Sensitivity conditions analyzed. It observed that alternative techniques such as optical trapping hold promise: diffusive behavior traps found quantitatively from free particle.
