摘要: Abstract Purpose The objective of the study was to investigate sensitivity statutory reporting Haemophilus influenzae invasive disease (HIID) during period between 1996 and 1997 in Catalonia, Spain. Methods incidence HIID reported passively by clinicians compared with cases detected a system microbiological surveillance. In all isolated, age patient, clinical form serotype were investigated. Results Sixty-six 111 Overall 59.5% (95% CI, 50.7–69.1), differences being observed according variables studied. highest values obtained children under 5 years (87.8%; 95% 73.7–95.9), meningitis and/or sepsis (64.3%; 50.4–76.6) b (73.0%; 60.3–83.4). logistical regression analysis, only associated greater (OR =  9.8; 2.5–37.8). Conclusions Reported morbidity is good estimate true Catalonia (underreporting 12.2%), but not for those above this whom underreporting 57.2%.
