摘要: INTRODUCTION: Moderate to severe traumatic brain injury (TBI) can result in development of spasticity, which adversely affects function and quality life. Given the foundation optimal clinical practice is use best available evidence, we aimed identify, describe, evaluate methodological evidence-based spasticity guidelines (CPGs). METHODS: A comprehensive search for CPGs encompassed electronic databases online sources. Eligible were evaluated using validated Appraisal Guidelines Research Evaluation II (AGREE II) instrument. RESULTS: Five eligible review; 2 specific acquired 1 TBI. The 3 injury-specific contained 423 recommendations overall, but only 8 recommendations. On basis AGREE appraisals, all performed well areas reporting scope purpose; clearly presenting recommendations; including various stakeholders CPG process; conflict interest. However, one adequately on describing facilitators barriers implementation, advice, tools how implement provision audit criteria. Intraclass correlation coefficient (ICC) agreement between raters showed high (ICC > 0.80) most guidelines. CONCLUSION: unique etiological features treatment challenges associated with managing after TBI, more TBI-specific are required. These should incorporate information advice implementing recommendations, Language: en
