摘要: The effects of trimethyltin (TMT) intoxication on the developing mouse brain were studied. BALB/c mice injected intraperitoneally with 3.0 mg TMT/kg body weight postnatal day 3. Animals sacrificed at selected intervals to 30 days age and their brains examined by light microscopy. Increased eosinophilia granularity hippocampal pyramidal neurons pyriform cortex detected as early 16 hours post-administration. Extensive degenerative necrotic charges observed 1 10 post-administration, particularly in region CA-3 Ammon's horn. Cerebellar Purkinje granule neurons, basal ganglia cerebral involved a lesser extent. Pathological changes cells fascia dentata much less extensive than reported adult mice. Astrogliosis was occasionally pronounced. Distribution lesions within hippocampus indicate that acute neonatal TMT exposure results different regional pattern injury acutely treated
