摘要: Abstract Omega-3 fatty acids (FA) are a promising adjuvant therapy for depressive disorder (DD) in adults. The objective of this single-centre, randomized, double-blind and controlled study was to compare the efficacy an omega-3 FA fish oil emulsion with control alongside standard treatment depression children adolescents suffering from DD or mixed anxiety (MADD) analyse serum acid levels omega-6/omega-3 ratio before after intervention. 60 were randomised 1:1 intervention (Om3) active comparator (Om6) groups. Children's Depression Inventory (CDI) ratings performed at baseline, every 2 weeks 12-week period. Significant reductions CDI scores observed after 6 12 Om3 group DD subgroup compared Om6 MADD subgroup. Ratio decreased but not 24.2/1 7.6/1 weeks, EPA, ratio, DHA, correlated severity symptoms baseline. An rich may be effective supplement during treatment disorders children. Trial registration: ISRCTN 81655012
