摘要: Publisher Summary This chapter focuses mainly on the treatments for face, as facial beauty and appearance are most significant recognizable yardstick of youth aging in human societies. Antiaging cosmetic products being developed with sophisticated cell molecular biology techniques, including gene arrays, SAGE, proteomics scientific laboratories world over, using isolated skin cells to pinpoint beneficial effects active ingredients. Such studies followed by testing three-dimensional equivalents, which alleviates need animal testing. An array noninvasive techniques utilizing instrumentation measure a wide responses, parameters, physiological functions has aided scientist dermatologist quantifying biological claim substantiation antiaging products. True efforts should have holistic approach, addressing not only care, but nutrition, wellness, balanced lifestyle, stress management. The industry is embracing such an increasing consumer awareness investments research development meet this need, no more just buzzword.
