摘要: Objective: Magnetic resonance imaging enhanced with macromolecular contrast medium was used to monitor effects of angiogenesis inhibition on tumor microvascular permeability and ascites volume in an athymic rat model human ovarian cancer. Study Design: Groups 6 rats implanted intraperitoneally SKOV-3, a cancer cell line, were treated through 14-day course antibody vascular endothelial growth factor or saline solution for control animals. Dynamic magnetic performed 92,000-d agent, albumin-(gadolinium-diethylenetriaminepentaacetic acid)30. Vascular estimated from dynamic enhancement data that analyzed unidirectional 2-compartment kinetic model. Results: Animals accumulated significantly smaller volumes peritoneal (P < .05) showed lower imaging–assayed permeabilities than did Conclusion: agent anti–vascular can be measure reduction permeability, corresponding production.
