An attempt now made to confirm previous findings R. sera zebus, sheep goats Ethiopia, which brought epidemic typhus into category a zoonosis. This was not successful, but tests did indicate some ticks were infected with conori (boutonneuse fever or tick-borne typhus) Coxiella burneti (Q fever), this being first evidence for existence these agents Ethiopia.
