摘要: Background and Study Aims. Endoscopic ultrasound- (EUS-) guided biliary drainage (EUS-BD) is an alternative treatment for obstruction after failed endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography (ERCP). In this study, we present the outcomes of inpatients with obstructive jaundice treated EUS-BD using a fully covered metallic stent ERCP. Patients Methods. A total 21 patients due to malignant tumors prior unsuccessful ERCP underwent EUS via intra- or extrahepatic approach between March 2014 October 2015. single endoscopist performed all procedures. Results. Seven hepatogastrostomy (HGS) 14 choledochoduodenostomy (CDS). The technical clinical success rates were both 100%. There was no difference in efficacy HGS CDS. Adverse events occurred three patients, including two group (1 bile leakage 1 sepsis) one CDS (sepsis). Four died as result their primary during median follow-up period 13 months (range: 3–21 months). No patient presented migration. Conclusion. appears be safe effective method jaundice.
