A low power frequency synthesizer for biosensor applications in the MedRadio band

摘要: With the growing applications of biosensors, there is desire for wireless interface to integrated biosensors outside world. This paper proposes a multichannel PLL transmitter in Device Radio Communications Service (Med radio) band at 401–406 MHz. Phase locked loop (PLL) consists rail quadrature output voltage controlled oscillator (VCO), low power digital synchronous programmable integer N-divider, Bang bang Frequency Detector (PFD), Charge Pump and 3rd order filter. The overall consumption 204µW 1.2 V. meets all FCC requirements MedRadio band. proposed work implemented TSMC18rf process.
