摘要: Publisher Summary This chapter describes a genomic method to map biochemical activities their corresponding genes. Understanding the activity of gene product is critical step toward deducing mechanism by which exerts its function, in some cases providing first clue that function. It also often leads identification new protein motifs, molecular understanding regulation, clues nature drug targets, and an insight into evolution as well better metabolism enzymatic catalysis. Identification responsible for has resulted surprising links between two apparently unrelated processes, such link tyr tRNA synthetase cytokines produced during apoptosis.
