摘要: Abstract The existing data on apoptotic processes in human atherosclerotic lesions is insufficient and often contradictory. This study was undertaken to evaluate the levels of expression key apoptosis-related genes, namely, caspase 3 (CASP3) 9 (CASP9) normal (non-atherosclerotic) intima aorta comparison with those different types lesions. Twenty-five autopsy samples thoracic were examined by polymerase chain reaction (PCR) analysis. revealed that expressions CASP3 CASP9 genes changed course progression disease, but not a unanimous way. mRNA found be steadily decreasing atherosclerosis while showed pattern which can described as “bell-shaped” relationship between gene type lesion, maximum being observed fatty streaks. fall may associated cellular senescence well domination necrotic lesions, shown electron microscopic Our provides novel quantitative thus, might assist better understanding occurring during development atherogenesis.
