摘要: Copper (Cu) is an essential heavy metal for plants, but high Cu concentration in the soil causes phytotoxicity. Some however, possess a system that can overcome toxicity, such as localization, and active antioxidant defence to reduce oxidative damage induced by concentration. The present study was conducted explore phytoremediation potential, morpho-physiological traits, capacity, fibre quality of jute (Corchorus capsularis) grown mixture Cu-contaminated natural at ratios 0:1 (control), 1:0, 1:1, 1:2 1:4. Our results showed decreased plant growth, biomass, chlorophyll content, gaseous exchange, yield while increasing reactive oxygen species (ROS), which indicated stress soil. Antioxidant enzymes, superoxidase dismutase (SOD), peroxidase (POD), catalase (CAT) ascorbate (APX) scavenge ROS cells/tissues. Furthermore, did not significantly worsen C. capsularis, this able accumulate large amount Cu, with higher accumulation its shoots than roots. Transmission electron microscopy (TEM) revealed toxicity affected different organelles chloroplast most organelle. On basis these results, we concluded toxic reducing crop productivity, showing little effect on yield. Hence, fibrous crop, when sites.
