摘要: A great deal of research has focused on memory dysfunction in children with learning disabilities. However, findings have been inconsistent which may be attributed to the limitations inherent approaches previously used this area. Given heterogeneous nature disabilities, current study examined performance Wide Range Assessment Memory and LearningSecond Edition (WRAML2) identify reliable meaningful profiles adolescents diagnosed a disability. total 101 between ages 9 16 disability were included study. Participants’ scaled subtest scores WRAML2 core subtests verbal working subjected two-stage hierarchical iterative partitioning cluster analysis. Internal validity final solution was established using multiple-method reliability techniques. Comparison results obtained several analyses strongly suggested presence five subtypes. Three clusters differentiated primarily by level (Average, Low Average, Borderline majority subtests). The other two pattern (weak visuospatial short term weak auditory memory). subtypes exhibited distinct patterns measures delayed memory, intellectual functioning, academic achievement. Also, groups differed rate co-morbid ADHD, together suggesting that are valid potentially clinically meaningful. indicate can
