摘要: A case of multifocal malignant glioma the brain in a 67-year-old male is presented. The main neoplastic focus occupied both frontal lobes and anterior portion corpus callosum. Numerous small foci, so-called „satellite metastases” surrounded masses. There was second situated basal pons. This showed histological features anaplastic glioma. No direct connection between two foci shown on serial section through midbrain. were „blastomatoid” glial cells seen unchanged nervous tissue pons medulla, they single or grouped clusters. morphology pontine neoplasm presence above mentioned astrocytes widespread throughout stem suggested that we dealing with primary growth tumour.
