摘要: The reaction between cytochrome c (CC) and peroxidase (CcP) is a very attractive system for investigating the fundamental mechanism of biological electron transfer. resting ferric state CcP oxidized by hydrogen peroxide to compound I (CMPI) containing an oxyferryl heme indolyl radical cation on Trp-191. CMPI sequentially reduced CMPII then two molecules CC. In this review we discuss use new ruthenium photoreduction technique other rapid kinetic techniques address following important questions: (1) What initial acceptor in CMPI? (2) are true rates transfer from CC heme? (3) binding domains pathways (4) complete under physiological conditions?
