摘要: Compact nickel oxide (NiO) thin films were prepared on various substrates via a simple spray pyrolysis technique. Morphological and structural characterization indicates that these NiO are very uniform in thickness (∼100 nm) possess the bunsenite crystal structure. Optical measurements show highly transparent with band gap of 3.70 ± 0.05 eV. Mott-Schottky plots obtained from electrochemical impedance spectroscopy reveal as-deposited fluorine-doped tin (FTO) glass behaves as p-type semiconductor. The flat potential was estimated to be ∼0.36 V (vs. NHE) 0.10 M tetrabutylammonium perchlorate/acetonitrile electrolytes. Cyclic voltammetric FTO redox electrolytes reactions proceed accumulation region but completely inhibited depletion region, indicating effectively block substrate. Using blocking layers, CdS-sensitized mesoscopic photocathode operating polysulfide electrolyte is unambiguously demonstrated for first time. It anticipated synthesized by could find important applications stable electron barrier layers optoelectronic devices.
