摘要: The emergence of a topologically nontrivial vortex-like magnetic structure, the skyrmion, has launched new concepts for memory devices. Extensive studies have theoretically demonstrated ability to encode information bits by using chain skyrmions in one-dimensional nanostripes. Here, we report experimental observation skyrmion FeGe nanostripes high-resolution Lorentz transmission electron microscopy. Under an applied field, observe that helical ground states with distorted edge spins evolve into individual skyrmions, which assemble form at low field and move collectively interior elevated fields. Such survives even when width nanostripe is much larger than size single skyrmion. This discovery demonstrates way formation through effect, might, long term, shed light on potential applications.
