摘要: The pathogenic ‘Candidatus Liberibacter’ species have caused tremendous economic losses to agricultural crops. Since these bacteria are, generally, not yet unculturable, information regarding genetics and pathogenesis of the pathogens is limited. Comparative analyses multiple Liberibacter genomes provide unprecedented insights into evolutionary history, phylogenetic diversity, metabolomic capacities among bacteria. In addition, genomic plant disease-associated Liberibacters led identification potential or putative pathogenicity virulence factors, as well biomarkers associated with Liberibacter–host interactions. availability specific interactions will aid in development improved, reliable diagnostic protocols for early (i.e., presymptomatic), rapid detection part disease management strategies. no host resistance has been found Liberibacter-associated diseases, knowledge genes their products virulence, psyllid vectors, lead targets mitigating acquisition transmission by psyllids, infection, development. Finally, genomics-based research facilitate improved understanding complex diverse mechanisms Liberibacter–plant
