摘要: The existing fossil fuel based power sector has to be transformed towards carbon neutrality in close future limit global warming 2°C. 100% renewable energy (RE) system will discussed the paper. Such a can built using already generation, storage and transmission technologies. A regional integration of Europe, Eurasia MENA systems facilitate access lower cost sources neighboring regions, provide additional flexibility decrease need increase stability because more distributed generation. Additional demand from synthetic gas generation additionally demand, enables use primary decreases. Finally, such an sustainable economically feasible with total LCOE about 50 €/MWh for year 2030 assumptions. Even much higher around 42 — than coal-CCS or new nuclear options.
