摘要: A process for concentrating and destroying the perchlorate nitrate anions present in ground water drinking sources is disclosed. In process, feed are concentrated into a much smaller effluent stream. typical configuration involves using continuous contacter apparatus known as ISEP wherein adsorbed on to an ion-exchange resin resulting perchlorate-free treated water. The unit also incorporates regeneration zone where effectively removed from relatively low volumes of brine solution regenerant. waste containing other that may be This stream by combination of: i) bioreactor or catalytic reactor removes (if present) ii) sulfate removal needed) nanofiltration established methods iii) filters disinfectant system render re-usable. recycled back process. entire results very small needs disposal. can applied streams either alone such nitrate, bicarbonate.
