摘要: The iridovirus isolate termed cricket (CrIV) was isolated in 1996 from Gryllus campestris L. and Acheta domesticus (both Orthoptera, Gryllidae). CrIV DNA shows distinct restriction patterns different those known for Insect iridescent virus type 6 (IIV-6). This observation led to the assumption that might be a new species within family Iridoviridae. can transmitted perorally orthopteran species, resulting specific, fatal diseases. These include bimaculatus African migratory locust Locusta migratoria migratorioides (Orthoptera, Acrididae). Analysis of genomic host range properties this carried out comparison IIV-6. Host studies IIV-6 revealed no differences peroral susceptibility all insect developmental stages tested date. Different gene loci genome were analyzed, including major capsid protein (274L), thymidylate synthase (225R), an exonuclease (012L), polymerase (037L), ATPase (075L), ligase (205R) open reading frame 339L, which is homologous immediate-early ICP-46 frog 3. average identity selected viral genes their products found 95·98 95·18% at nucleotide amino acid level, respectively. data conclusion are not Iridoviridae must considered variant and/or novel strain
