摘要: To test whether the route of insulin delivery has a major effect on increase in daily food intake associated with chronic treatment, was continuously infused into either vena cava (VC) or hepatic portal (HP) vein 23 diabetic Lewis rats. Increasing doses both VC (2 to 6 U/day) and HP (1.5 3.5 groups significantly increased (p < .05). Intake higher group at 3 U/day but not 2U/day. When delivered low fixed dose, only after urinary glucose losses increased. The rate weight gain varied Insulin administration also energy expenditure .01). These results suggest that extent body occurs peripheral exogenous is dependent infusion.
