摘要: Primary therapy for biliary atresia is a surgical hepatoportoenterostomy (Kasai procedure), which has been shown to reduce mortality, but frequently complicated by ascending cholangitis and the development of cirrhosis. Previously reported recurrent caused obstruction included revision percutaneous drainage, endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography not previously described. Here, we report patient with after Kasai procedure an anastomotic stricture successfully treated single-balloon enteroscopy-assisted cholangiopancreatography. This novel technique could be considered in patients this common complication may impact long-term outcomes population.
