摘要: This paper reports the outcomes of a 3-year faculty development project, Nursing School Education Collaborative (NSEC), implemented in four baccalaureate schools nursing. The focus NSEC was to strengthen educational programs through and curriculum integration area substance abuse addictions education. A comprehensive needs assessment process is outlined, activities are detailed. Faculty has resulted significant improvements each school's curriculum. Outcomes at participating school have included continuing education activities, acquisition additional teaching resources, an model, increased clinical contact hours. With increasing recognition as number one public health problem nursing major workforce, this project serves model for replication.
