摘要: Abstract Under mild denaturing conditions proteins undergo transitions toward partially unfolded states called “molten globules”. Moderate pressures can inactivate enzymes and cause protein denaturation without extensive conformational changes. Several lines of evidence indicate that pressure in the range 0.5 – 1.5 kbar induce molten globule transitions. In this paper, subject pressure-induced is reviewed. This followed by practical considerations on gel electrophoresis under hydrostatic pressure. technique used to detect increase hydrodynamic volume accompanies molten-globule High measurements ANS binding were applied cholinesterases. Results these a multistep process; intermediates have characteristics globules.
