摘要: Distributed generation (DG) technology is developing rapidly and many countries have plans to install large percentage of new generating units at dispersed locations. When fixed variable costs are considered, then wind becomes an attractive alternative. With grid interconnection, one has address the issues like interfacing, protection, tariff structure, transmission pricing, etc. While considering issues, reduction in distribution (T D) losses a major role play. Though it known that T D reduce with placement generator near load, be quantified its effect on adequately considered. There other benefits improvement voltage, which also should quantified.
