摘要: Heavy-ion total reaction cross-section measurements for more than 1100 cases covering 61 target nuclei in the range 6Li–238U and 158 projectile from 2H to 84Kr (mostly exotic ones) have been analyzed a systematic way by using an empirical, three-parameter formula that is applicable of kinetic energies above Coulomb barrier. The analysis has shown average nuclear binding energy per nucleon interacting their radii are chief quantities describe patterns. A great amount data (87%) quite satisfactorily reproduced proposed formula; therefore, predictions new, not yet experimentally investigated can be obtained within 25% (or much less) uncertainty.
