摘要: In this article we review the development of organic salts integrated in photovoltaics (OPVs) and potential capabilities that enable OPV devices. Organic are ionic compounds composed either cations, anions, or a combination both. These salt semiconductors can exhibit highly tunable properties with absorption throughout visible deep into near-infrared. characteristics have enabled their integration traditional cells, multijunctions, transparent photovoltaic devices unique applications for windows similar surfaces. We discuss these make them desirable use range historical based OPVs to provide an overview progress made efficiencies device architectures. Among most exciting properties, ability high efficiency (TPVs), energetics, efficient ultra-deep infrared harvesting.
