摘要: Objectives The goal of this study was to assess the relations electrocardiographic QRS duration left ventricular (LV) measurements in individuals without heart failure (HF) or prior myocardial infarction (MI). Background Increased (≥120 ms) is a marker dyssynchrony. Methods We evaluated maximal echocardiographic LV dimensions 4,534 Framingham Heart participants (mean age 54 years, 57% women) HF MI. analyzed as continuous variable and categories ( Results In linear regression models, mass, end-diastolic dimension, septal posterior wall thicknesses were positively related log-QRS duration, whereas fractional shortening (FS) inversely (p Conclusions our community-based sample free MI, increasing mass dimensions, associated with FS. Additional investigations are warranted elucidate mechanisms underlying observed associations.
