Nocardiajiangsuensis sp. nov., an actinomycete isolated from coastal soil

摘要: A novel actinomycete strain, designated strain KLBMP S0027T, was isolated from a coastal soil collected the region of Lianyungang, Jiangsu Province, in east China, and studied detail for its taxonomic position. Comparative 16S rRNA gene sequence analysis showed that this belonged to genus Nocardia and most closely related Nocardia harenae WS-26T (98.5 %), Nocardia asiatica NBRC 100129T Nocardia abscessus 100374T (98.2 %), brasiliensis NBRC 14402T (98.2 %) Nocardia cyriacigeorgica 100375T (98 %), respectively. The combination chemotaxonomic morphological properties typical Nocardia . cell wall contained meso-diaminopimelic acid (type IV), whole-cell sugars were arabinose, galactose, glucose ribose. Strain S0027T MK-8(H4ω-cycl) as predominant menaquinone; C16 : 0, C18 : 1ω9c, C18 : 0 10-methyl (TBSA) summed feature 3 (C16 : 1ω7c/C16 : 1ω6c) major cellular fatty acids. polar lipids detected diphosphatidylglycerol, phosphatidylethanolamine, phosphatidylinositol, one unknown glycolipid two lipids. Mycolic acids detected. G+C content DNA 70.5 %. However, DNA–DNA hybridization phenotypic data demonstrated could be clearly distinguished type species, N. harenae WS-26T. On basis presented polyphasic study, it evident should assigned species Nocardia , which name Nocardia jiangsuensis sp. nov. is proposed. (=CGMCC 4.7330T=KCTC 39691T).
