摘要: A simple modification is described for converting a Perkin‐Elmer Infra‐Red Spectrophotometer to double beam operation direct recording of percent transmission versus wave‐length. phase discrimination system used, requiring no changes in the optical system, and sacrifice versatility or ease prism interchange. complete spectrum over rocksalt region may be obtained 25 minutes with good resolution, attention from an operator. Samples as small 1×6 mm can studied. The readily adaptable other spectrophotometers, including those visual ultraviolet range, only limitation being sufficiently rapid response by detector.
