摘要: Polymorphous low-grade neuroepithelial tumor of the young (PLNTY) is a recently described epileptogenic neoplasm. As name implies, PLNTYs are indolent tumors most often encountered in pediatric or adult population. The imaging features PLNTY not well characterized existing literature. We performed retrospective review, identifying nine patients with pathologically proven and available preoperative order to identify common which may facilitate confident diagnosis this entity. Patients were ages 5 34 years (median 16 years), seven (78%) female. Most had highly characteristic appearance, temporal lobe location (6/9; 67%), calcification (8/9; 89%), cortical/subcortical origin cystic components relatively infrequent contrast enhancement (3/9; 33%). demonstrate calcification, subcortical location, frequent localization, that allow radiologists prospectively suggest proper clinical setting.
