摘要: The optogenetic tools have been described as valuable techniques to study neural activity through light stimulation, well potential neuromodulator approaches in the management of several central nervous system (CNS) diseases. Since first bacteriorhodopsin protein a single-component light-activated regulator transmembrane ion flow description, 1980's, focus has on channel proteins for neurobiology; however, advances engineering showed involvement changes cellular biological behavior types involved cell cytoskeleton regulation, motility and gene expression. Although use this technology published many papers, question still remains regarding real results clinical applicability CNS diseases, publications scarcity that systematically analyses results. Lastly, aim review is discuss experimental results, molecular mechanisms applications epilepsy depression treatment, its treatment tumors.
