摘要: Abstract The effect of H 2 S addition on the activity and stability CoMo catalyst during hydrotreating phenol anisole was studied. presence strongly decreased HDO sulfided catalyst, ratio reaction pathways depended concentration. hydrogenolysis route to aromatics suppressed, whereas conversion hydrogenation–hydrogenolysis alicyclics at moderate concentrations remained same as in absence S. This clearly supports two types active sites for catalyst. Sulfidation not a prerequisite demethylation phenol, though it increased Demethylation proceeded effectively even acidic Al O 3 support sulfhydryl groups formed In desulfurization changes structure formation coke high molecular weight compounds its but did affect selectivity HDO.
