摘要: [Purpose] We aimed to evaluate the effects of Phyllanthus amarus (PA) on oxidative stress and damage, inflammation, soreness in muscle after a single session moderate-intensity exercise. [Subjects Methods] Twelve men randomly participated 2, three-day phases with one-week washout period. On first day, participants consumed two capsules PA or placebo control (CTL) before 20 min cycling. They then four same day exercise six capsules/day for next days. Blood samples were obtained before, immediately 24 h 48 h The pain tolerance was measured at both legs. [Results] Plasma vitamin C levels group higher than those CTL At exercise, group, but lower pre-exercise levels. However, plasma creatine kinase increased groups compared neutrophil count group. [Conclusion] Acute supplementation improves antioxidant status
