摘要: A new type of mutation is described which affects the regulation gal-operon, and maps distant from structural genes galR-gene. The mutants were found among survivors a heat induction thermosensitive prophage λc I857 . Their basal enzyme level 2–3 times higher than wild-type level. They carry deletions covering region attλ to chlA. deletion exerts its influence in position trans, effect can be complemented. presence does not affect lac-operon.
