摘要: Whether the behavior of a model matches (real) system–sufficiently well–has always been matter great interest. In lay terms, these are essential questions one would like to have answered in seeking evaluate model: (i) has constructed approved materials, i.e. constituent hypotheses (in scientific terms)? (ii) does its approximate well that observed respect real thing? (iii) it work, fulfill designated task, or serve intended purpose?
