摘要: Priming human fibroblasts with low levels (100 units/ml) of homologous interferon (IFN) prior to induction gene expression poly(rI.rC) results in the accumulation 5-10-fold higher IFN-beta 1 mRNA when compared induced but nonprimed cells. By run-on transcription assay we have determined that this increase mainly from increased rate gene. We also shown priming leads elevated cytoplasmic steady state two additional RNA species which initiate at major initiation site and extend beyond polyadenylation for 0.9-kilobase mRNA. Located next 3' end identified a novel poly(rI.rC)-induced like is highly activated cells primed IFN induction. However, another located on different chromosome only slightly affected by procedure used here. postulate acts specifically certain genes rather than general potentiation
