摘要: Objective: To examine mediators of the relationship between perfectionism and eating disorder (ED) psychopathology in a clinical sample. Method: Participants were 201 women with DSM-IV diagnosed ED consecutively referred to specialist outpatient treatment clinic. Participants completed measures perfectionism, psychopathology, shape weight overvaluation, conditional goal-setting (CGS). Results: Evaluation multivariate mediator model using Baron Kenny's (1986) four-step mediation methodology showed that overvaluation CGS significantly uniquely mediated relation self-oriented (SOP) restraint, concern, concern. The furthered proportion explained variance outcomes beyond direct effects by 28–49%. Discussion: The findings support conclusion SOP clinically is CGS. © 2010 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.
