摘要: Abstract Protein adsorption on charged inorganic solid materials has recently attracted enormous interest owing to its various possible applications, including drug delivery and biomaterial design. The need combine experimental computational approaches get a detailed picture of the adsorbed protein properties is increasingly recognised emphasised in this review. We discuss methods frequently used study information they can provide. focus model systems containing silica surface, which negatively hydrophilic at physiological pH, two contrasting proteins: bovine serum albumin (BSA) lysozyme (LSZ) that are both water soluble. At pH 7, BSA net negative charge, whereas LSZ positive. In addition, moderately sized flexible, small relatively rigid. These differences charge structural nature capture role electrostatics hydrophobic interactions these proteins, along with impact orientation function. Understanding will undoubtedly enhance potential extrapolate our knowledge other interest.
