摘要: The aim of this contribution is certainly not to provide a general course in electron microscopy, other and more elaborated works can be consulted for purpose, e.g. [1,2]. We will only try clarify these aspects microscopy which are useful the study ordered alloys or evolution towards ordering. First we symmetry alloy predict number orientation as well translation variants phase disordered matrix. Due usual lowering upon ordering interfaces result alloys. Their internal relationship predicted based on simple rules. two dimensional defects related identified from microscope observations sometimes produce specific diffraction effects. High resolution combined with computer simulated images allow obtain atomic scale information defects. Important that show minority atoms large range systematically imaged bright dots; provides us an easy code interpret complex high images.
