Development of radiation sterilized dip slides for enumerating lactic acid bacteria and total count in foodstuffs

摘要: Abstract APT agar (APT) used for enumeration of lactic acid bacteria and Plate Count (PCA) applied total count were sterilized by gamma radiation using dose 10–15 kGy. Radiosterilized PCA modified adding catalase prior to irradiation, or with increased content yeast extract performed, as well as, the heat commercial media. Growth performance was evaluated on several strains microorganisms, in food products. Radiosterilization culture media final packaging, can be produce dip slide kits containing APT.
