摘要: Objective. To investigate the prevalence and nature of lumbo-pelvic pain (LPP), that is experienced by women in lumbar and/or sacro-iliac area symphysis pubis during pregnancy. Design. Cross-sectional, descriptive study. Setting. An Australian public hospital antenatal clinic. Sample population: Women their third trimester Method. were recruited to study as they presented for appointment. A survey collected demographic data was used self report LPP. diagram differentiated low back, pelvic girdle or combined pain. Closed open ended questions explored experiences women. Main Outcome Measures. The Visual Analogue Scale Oswestry Disability Index (Version 2.1a). Results. There a high reported LPP pregnancy (71%). association found between reporting LPP, multiparity, previous history mean intensity score usual 6/10 four out five disability associated with condition.
